Course description
This online basic course will teach you how to control the system manually, perform runs, create methods using block programming, edit methods, use start protocols, use some advanced functions as well as use air sensors and alarms or warnings. You will practice creating and printing reports, as well as backing up files.
The examples in the course are taken from ÄKTApurifier™ and ÄKTAexplorer™. The course is however relevant also for ÄKTApilot™, ÄKTAfplc™ as well as Ettan™LC users.
After the course, you will be able to:
| Control your system and document results based on software practice and theoretical knowledge on the use of UNICORN software |

Online training—ease and flexibility:
Complete the course at your own pace. The course is created by modules, accessible for one year, and does not require any ÄKTA™ system or UNICORN software. You can immediately apply what you learn to your daily work, for example while waiting for an experiment to complete, you can easily finish or review one or more of the training modules.
The training consists of watch, listen, read, answer questions, and practice via interactive sessions using real-life examples. After completion of a final assessment, you will have the opportunity to print out a Certificate of Completion.
